Vicar’s Message

Welcome to St Luke’s, Cheltenham. We are an Evangelical Anglican Church of around 100 members of all ages. Above all we are a Christian community seeking to be rooted and built up in Jesus Christ. You can find our building towards the centre of town and opposite the general hospital.

We gather together in worship on Sundays at 8am and 10am, and midweek on Wednesday at 11am. You can also follow our weekly 10am services via our YouTube Channel.

Our current teaching series during Lent is exploring the journey of Peter in his relationship with Jesus. Peter had many ups and downs, and so there is much for us to learn from his example. The journey of Christian faith is never a straight line. So, wherever you are on that journey, we’re sure St Luke’s can help you on the next step.

As you can see, we are currently redeveloping our website. Along with our weekly services, you can see details of our Easter services at the bottom of this page. In truth, the best way to find out about us at St Luke’s is to come and meet us. We’re really confident you will find a warm welcome. Our services on Sunday at 8am and Wednesday at 11am are Holy Communion and little more traditional in style. The Sunday 10am service is a bit more informal, and there is a creche, as well as groups for both children and young people.

If you’d like to know any more about St Luke’s, do get in touch.
