Growing in our Christian faith is not just about weekly services at St Luke’s. We want to see everyone grow deeper roots in Jesus Christ through being part of small group, devoted to prayer and using their gifts in service in the church.
Growth Groups & Women's Bible Fellowship
Connect is our monthly prayer meeting for the whole church. It takes place either in church on a Tuesday morning at 10am, or occasionally on a Saturday morning at 10am for breakfast and prayer. See our Whats On page for future dates.
Growth Groups meet fortnightly on Wednesday or Thursday evenings, during school term times, for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. They are an opportunity to discuss and apply the teaching we have heard at weekly services. They meet in people's homes, starting at 7.30pm and ending by 9pm. Please contact Patrick if you would like to join a Growth Group.
Women's Bible Fellowship meets in church every Friday morning during school term time. There is coffee from 9.30am with a Bible study from 10-11am. Mums and carers are welcome to bring children with them. We have toys and games available to keep them entertained. Please simply come along on any Friday morning.
We are committed to loving one another at St Luke's and serving is a great way to see our church community flourish. Some people are involved in weekly services with welcoming, music, prayers or supporting children's ministry. Others participate with helping in the church grounds, preparing flowers in church, or managing the building. Wherever your gifts and interest lie, we want to see you grow by using them to serve God, his people and the community.
